Benefits Administrator at the Jobcenter Hanau (m/f/d)

You advise citizens on the benefits under the Social Code (SGB II). You accept applications for services and examine whether the requirements for entitlement are met. You determine the services provided for in SGB II, issue notifications and ensure timely payment. In addition, the continuous re-examination of the performance claims belongs to your tasks. You work closely with the team members of the market and integration area as well as other social services. You have contacts with employers and other institutions in the context of the clarification of the facts.

A completed study or a completed training in the fields of public administration, law, economy or social affairs (e.g. Bachelor in Social Security & Social Administration or Public Administration, training as an administrative specialist, lawyers, social security specialist) First professional experience in work with legal texts First professional experience in performance management or a comparable field of activity Knowledge of social legislation books, especially SGB II, are desirable Good oral and written language skills A safe occurrence and the ability to maintain a cool head in conflicts Empathy, team skills and service orientation Intercultural competence and diversity competence Good knowledge of MS Office
