Systems Engineer for Structural Design and Structural Analysis (m/f/d)

You'll first design designs for naval vehicles and edit shipbuilding-typical drawings as well as illustrations. You carry out static and dynamic strength calculations (local and global) using FEM, initialize and process steel or Class plans and check the associated building documents. You conduct projects related to these topics and coordinate the exchange with classification societies, authorities and the various departments in the company. You apply the relevant regulations (DNV, construction regulations of the German Marine, relevant DIN standards, etc.).

You have a completed study as a shipbuilding engineer TU/FH (Dipl.-Ing.) or a master with a focus on strength and construction as well as at least 3-5 years of professional experience. You have shipbuilding-specific IT/CAD skills (e.g. Aveva Marine 2D, Poseidon, Nauticus); Knowledge of Hyperworks, Ansys, RFEM/RSTAB are desirable) and master the current MS Office programs. You have experience in project management, think conceptually and analytically and work independently. You are strong in communication, team-ready and show your own initiative as well as the willingness to take responsibility. You have very good English and German knowledge in word and writing and are flexible enough to travel between the locations Emden, Kiel and Hamburg.
