Customer Data Platform Engineer - Salesforce Data Cloud (m/f/d)

Consulting & Pre-Sales: You accompany customers in the introduction and further development of the Salesforce Data Cloud, you translate business goals into data and activation strategies and present concepts in Presales terminals.

Data Cloud Delivery & Implementation: You are an expert in the connection of data sources and implements data streams and data modeling. You redirect data and deliver it to target systems until activation.

Data architecture & integration: You guide workshops on architecture and data models, design ETL/ELT processes, harmonize identities and secure a high performance data foundation.

Identity & Consent Management: You implement Identity Resolution and Matching rules and ensure data protection-compliant processing and governance.

Segmentation & Activation: You build complex customer segments, KPIs and calculation fields and activate data for journeys, marketing automation, Loyalty and external systems.

System integration, operation & innovation: Integrate the Data Cloud with the Marketing Cloud, CRM, Data Lakes or AdTech systems. You also establish monitoring processes and measures to ensure data quality. Ensure a stable operation of the solution and actively introduces best practices and new features to the team.

Passion for Data & Salesforce: You're burning for topics such as data integration, customer 360, real-time data, segmentation and activation, and you want to exploit the full potential of the Salesforce Data Cloud.

Complete university degree: You bring a completed degree in (economic) informatics, data science or a comparable degree.

Hands-on Salesforce experience: You have practical project experience in the Salesforce Data Cloud or comparable technologies (e.g. CDP, data integration, data warehousing). Alternatively, you’ll bring well-founded experience with Salesforce Core Cloud (Sales/Service Cloud, Custom Objects, Flows) and want to develop towards Data Cloud.

Technical skills: You know about data models, SQL, JSON, APIs and ETL processes; Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Loyalty Cloud is a plus.

Certifications: First Salesforce certifications (e.g. Data Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud, Platform App Builder) or the willingness to acquire them promptly.

Language skills: Very good German and good English skills complete your profile.
