Technician / Engineer as Coordinator for Electrical Commissioning (m/f/d)

Modern ships are only ready for use by your work: You coordinate the electrical commissioning of energy generation, distribution and auxiliary systems and provide the basis for safe and reliable ship operations. To ensure that all commissioning processes interact smoothly, you control the cooperation between internal departments, external service providers and project partners and keep in mind appointments, quality and technical requirements at any time. Test procedures and technical documentation continuously develop and thereby create transparent processes and high quality throughout the entire commissioning phase. As a technical interface, you are in close contact with customers, classification societies, authorities and project partners and ensure that requirements are efficiently coordinated and successfully implemented. Complex technical questions analyse with a solution-oriented view, initiate appropriate measures and accompany their implementation until successful completion. The testing of commissioning and test documents is also part of your responsibility. Please ensure that technical specifications, contractual requirements and applicable standards are complied with reliably. During port, trial and trial trips, you will accompany the electrical systems to the successful acceptance and provide a complete and comprehensible project documentation. With meaningful status reports and progress analyses, you create transparency for project management and make an important contribution to sound decisions in the next project.

A study of electrical engineering, automation technology, shipbuilding and marine engineering or a further development of the state-tested technician (m/w/d) in the fields of electrical engineering, automation technology or shipbuilding technology forms the technical basis for this position. Experience in electrical commissioning, system testing or commissioning coordination – ideally in shipbuilding or industrial plant construction – enables you to quickly start up in challenging projects. The cooperation with interdisciplinary project teams is familiar to you. Thanks to your organizational skills, you can safely coordinate technical processes and keep track of complex projects. Use digital work environments such as M365 and document management systems You routinate or work quickly into new applications. Technical documentation, test regulations and relevant standards are sure to interpret and reliably implement their requirements in practice. Ideally, you already have a switching authorization as well as STCW certificates or bring the willingness to acquire them within your activity.
