Professional Driver (m/w/d)

As a professional driver CE (m/w/d), you take transports in freight transport and ensure that goods reach their destination safely and on time. You work independently, but are in regular exchange with the MRP and represent the company in contact with customers.

Your job as a professional driver CE (m/w/d)

• They carry out transports with a semi-trailer or link train according to tour planning. • They check the charge for completeness and ensure a safe load securing. • They control freight and delivery documents and ensure that all information is correct. • If necessary, they take over the loading or unloading of the vehicle. • They inform the MRP when delays or deviations arise. • They carefully change with vehicle and equipment and pay attention to their condition. • They reliably retain legal steering and rest periods.

Your working day as a professional driver CE (m/w/d)

The working day usually begins with the takeover of the vehicle and a brief exchange with the MRP. The planned tour is tuned and checked whether there are special features on the route. After that it goes on the road.

During the journey, you will keep an eye on dates, traffic and cargo. They respond to changing traffic situations in a calm and forward-looking manner. Reliability is crucial especially in freight transport – that is why you agree with the contacts at an early stage in case of questions or changes.

After completion of the tour, cargo papers are handed over and any special features are documented. Your contribution ensures that supply chains work reliably and customers receive their goods according to plan. The work requires concentration, sense of responsibility and clear communication with disposition and customers.

Your profile

• Class CE licence with registered key number • valid driver card • ideally experience in remote or near traffic • knowledge of cargo securing • reliable and punctual operation • careful handling of vehicles and equipment • friendly appearance to customers
