Our Information Technology division with its over 240 colleagues operates one of the most modern clinical IT environments in Europe. We ensure that the necessary data and functions are available wherever they are needed for the safe supply of our patients. Here you have the opportunity to advance digital excellence in healthcare and to help shape the IT landscapes for the benefit of the patient. In addition to the technologically current and economically meaningful provision of server, storage, backup and archiving technologies, the team data center as part of the IT base division in the Information Technology Division (GB IT) operates the two on-premises data centers and is also responsible for electricity, climate, monitoring, access and alerting in dialogue with our Group subsidiary Klinik Facility-Management Eppendorf GmbH (KFE). In addition, the technology platforms VMware virtualization as well as the SAP base operation are provided by the team data center. All technologies form the basis for compliance with the UKE Group's KRITIS requirements and our BSI basic protection certification around our electronic patient records. The orchestration of external cloud resources centrally provided by the GB IT is also included in the standard portfolio data center. It is necessary for the area to transform the established operating mode into a service-oriented product-ovnership or project-driven mode of operation. It's waiting for you Head of the team Data Center (disciplinary and professional) with the above priorities Coordination of work tasks and operational planning Customer advice:inside and other departments Planning and coordination of the life cycles of devices and procedures Co-operation in and management of overarching projects, including cross-project management and content management within the team Strategic planning and design also for more complex data center and cloud technologies including concept creation with framework contractors and pre-legislators, tendering/selection/introduction of new components or new technologies Migration of applications to aforementioned components or new processes Support for administrative colleagues:in technical terms (Sparring Partners) Planning of training and further training Implementation of employees:internal talks Processing of legal requirements, e.g. from the basic BSI or KRITIS/B3S

Completed academic degree in relevant IT discipline or comparable knowledge and skills Ideally, you can rely on several years of relevant professional experience from the IT of a large company, including data center, SAP base, VMware, storage, backup and archiving technologies, cloud integrations, and also the advice of such organizations. Good knowledge of German in word and writing (at least at level C1 according to European reference framework) Optionally, experience in the cloud orchestration of market-standard large cloud providers is helpful Multiannual professional experience, leadership knowledge, discussion management, strategic management, personnel management, team development skills Leadership, decision-making, enforcement, conflict, communication and team skills Individual initiative, empathy, economic action, service orientation, service-oriented thinking The grouping takes place according to the personal qualification of:the candidate:in.
