July 2026 for Section 1 a:n motivated:n Research assistant:in (w/m/d) im Projekt RuhrBots Figure 28-2026 | Part-time (65 %) | Compensation in case of tariff conditions TV-L E13 The location is assigned to the Institute of Computer Science at the Bottrop site. The project (https://ruhrbots.de/) examines robots in the public space of the Ruhr metropolis, in particular in municipal administrations, hotels and gastronomy, with a right to proximity to citizens and to decentralisation of benefits. In agile interdisciplinary teams, studies are conducted in the field and in the laboratory (also using mixed reality) and work scenarios are developed on a knowledge-based basis and developed for commercial use. independent conception, implementation and evaluation of empirical research projects (in particular field, laboratory and interview studies) Publication and presentation of research results at national and international conferences and in journals Development and processing of own research questions under the project Participation in the further development of the research project Supporting students and accompanying seminar and final work Participation in the transfer of research results in teaching and publicity (dissemination)

Completed academic studies (Master) in the field of psychology/human-technique interaction (or comparable) Experience in the implementation of online and/or laboratory studies Interdisciplinary openness Willingness to leave (e.g. conferences in Germany and abroad, project partners, places of study)
