More than 250 employees work under one roof with the Software Innovation Campus of the University of Paderborn as well as other institutes and start-ups at our location at the Zukunftsmeile in Paderborn. The focus is on system and software development for industrial automation and digitization, electronic and electromagnetic testing in our in-house laboratory, machine learning and artificial intelligence. As a Senior Control Engineer * Power Electronics, you play a key role in the development of innovative control solutions for power electronics systems. You design the control architecture from modelling to commissioning and work closely with circuit developers and embedded software engineers.

Development and design of controller structures based on abstract system models (pol-/zero-point analysis, frequency response, etc.) Implementation of control algorithms on embedded systems (including automated code generation) Implementation of simulations (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink) and validation on the real system Independently performing measurements on physical hardware (e.g. with oscilloscope, bode analyzer, power analyzer) Optimization of the control with regard to performance, robustness and cost-effectiveness Close cooperation with interdisciplinary teams from hardware, software and system development

completed studies of electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable degree course (Master/Diplom); Promotion of Benefit At least 5 years of professional experience in the regulation of performance electronic systems Funded knowledge in the regulation of performance electronic topologies Safe handling of MATLAB/Simulink, Embedded Coder, and C/C++ Experience with microcontroller platforms (e.g. TI C2000, STM32) and real-time operating systems Practice in the application of measurement and test equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, net analyzer, bode plotter) Analytical thinking, self-initiative and team capacity Communication strength and systemic thinking Very good German and English skills in word and writing
