Number: MER00040PO The MP - Mercedes-Benz Procurement and Supplier Quality division is responsible for an annual purchase volume in the two-digit billion range of all Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans as well as the quality of all Mercedes Benz Cars. With the support of nearly 1,500 suppliers in Germany and abroad, we supply our worldwide vehicle and aggregate plants with the necessary production materials. We have locations in Germany, South Africa, China, USA, India, Mexico and Argentina. In purchasing, we continuously analyze the dynamic changes in the market and review the purchasing and supplier strategy for our components. We assign development and series orders and are in the process of innovation and new developments from the outset. You can actively support us. As part of your internship at the Sindelfingen site, the following tasks come to you: Creation of request documents, presentation of offers and decision documents in the context of re-issues Development and development of methods, procedures and standards Cooperation with negotiation and procurement strategies Support in the preparation and follow-up of discussions and negotiations with national and international suppliers Prices and Conditions of Contract Active cooperation in the operational business (e.g. creation and testing of purchases) Organisation of workshops, presentations and supplier talks The activity is mainly carried out on site. After prior consultation, mobile work in the home office is possible on a daily basis. The activity can begin from September 2026.
