Monitoring / Creation of monthly and annual accounts Compilation of Annex and Position Report (if necessary), publication of relevant reports Ensuring final quality/testatability Personal and resource planning Guided tour of target and regular feedback talks Definition of business requirements for system implementation of new accounting requirements Accountant requirements for method changes, changes HGB or changes Tax legislation Supporting complex accounting processes: mergers, desinvest, acquisitions, EK bookings Introduction of process changes and automation to increase quality & efficiency Creation of tax returns Explanation of process changes in business with managing directors Requirements for IFRS Accounting in coordination with the Principle Department Ensuring the implementation of Group-wide standards

Completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Controlling or comparable training Additional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CFA or account book holder (IHK) of advantage Multiannual professional experience in financial and accounting, ideally in an international corporate environment Experience in a leadership position or as a deputy team leadership

Technical knowledge & skills: In-depth knowledge in the HGB as well as practical experience in the preparation of monthly and annual accounts Good knowledge of IFRS and cooperation with the Policy Department Secure control of complex booking operations (M&A, mergers, divestments, acquisitions, EK bookings) Experience in the preparation of Annex, Position Report and Tax Statements Ability to formulate business requirements for process and system changes Experience in process optimization, standardization and automation Secure handling of ERP systems (SAP, S4/HANA) and modern reporting tools Good knowledge of tax law and understanding of relevant changes in law Ensuring test and test capability
