To strengthen our Product Development & AgroService team, we are looking for a Crop Protection Expert (m/f/d) to join us in a permanent, full-time role offering a hybrid work model with flexibility to work from various locations across Poland.
In this role, you will play a key part in developing and implementing management strategies for sugar beet, helping to ensure the long-term effectiveness of KWS crop protection solutions while supporting sustainable agricultural practices. You will provide cooperation with international experts and technical expertise to customers and the commercial organization. The position regular business travel across Poland to support field, stakeholder engagement, and cross- cooperationfunctional.
Your Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategies to manage weed and fungal pathogen resistance in sugar beet production by promoting sustainable crop rotation and optimized herbicide and fungicide programs. • Plan, establish, and manage field trials across Poland, analyze results, and provide technical recommendations. • Monitor herbicide and fungicide resistance, collect field samples, and cooperate with KWS headquarters and international experts to support resistance monitoring and solution development. • Transfer global technical knowledge and best practices to the Polish market and contribute to continuous innovation. • Prepare and deliver technical training sessions, field demonstrations, and knowledge-sharing activities for customers and the sales organization. • Provide technical and agronomic support to key customers and assist in resolving complex crop protection challenges. • Represent KWS at industry events, technical meetings, and field days while strengthening the company's position as a trusted technical partner in the sugar beet market.
Your Profile:
• University degree, preferably in Agronomy, Crop Science, Plant Protection, Agriculture, or a related field • Professional experience in crop protection, especially with herbicides and fungicides• Strong knowledge of weed science, plans protection, and management strategies • Experience in planning, conducting, and evaluation field trials • Experience delivering technical training, presentations, and knowledge transfer activities • Certification or authorization to advise on the use of plant protection products is highly desirable • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a strong customer-oriented mindset • Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Strategic thinking, proactive attitude, and the ability to drive continuous improvement • Experience working effectively in international and cross-functional environments • Fluent Polish and good English language skills • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office • Valid Category B driving license and willingness to travel extensively (approximately 75%) across Poland, with occasional travel abroad
