About the company

Our client is an internationally active medium-sized company with connection to a European group of companies. In the course of a comprehensive development of the financial sector, we are looking for an experienced person in full or part-time, who not only manages the day-to-day operations safely, but also actively drives the construction of sustainable structures. The aim of the task is to stabilise accounting and build efficient and sustainable processes. You play a key role in a challenging transformation phase and contribute significantly to establishing the financial organisation in a sustainable manner. One essential goal of the position is to simplify, standardize and automate processes in order to reduce the manual processing effort sustainably. This includes, in particular, the optimization of operations in invoice processing and the reduction of administrative expenses.

Responsibility for ongoing financial accounting and supervision of creditor and debitor accounting Coordination of main and secondary books and participation as well as preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts Account adjustments in the area of customer, supplier and property accounts Implementation and coordination of intercompany agreements Creation of reports and official reports (including ELSTER) Implementation of sales tax forecasts and ensuring tax compliance Supporting extensive stock from accounting perspective Care and further development of resetting and plant levels Analysis of existing processes and identification of potential for improvement and the sustainable adaptation of these Introduction of transparent, efficient and scalable processes Establishing resilient accounting structures and standards Optimization of operations in invoice processing Accompanying change and transformation processes Close cooperation with national and international stakeholders, such as tax advisors and auditors

Completioned commercial training with continuing training to finance or balance sheet accounting:in (IHK) or a comparable qualification Including professional experience in the main and secondary accounting Completion-proof knowledge of German accounting (HGB) and basic knowledge of international accounting (IFRS) Experience gained in the creation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts Embossed hands-on mentality and high implementation competence Experience in environments close to transformation, construction or restructuring The ability to pragmatically solve operational challenges while developing structures sustainably Independent, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation Secure handling of ERP systems, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Navision Very good knowledge in Microsoft Excel Flowing German knowledge, very good English knowledge in word and writing as well as the willingness to discuss financial matters in English with international contacts
