Our team “Planting, Allocation and Capacity Management” is responsible for central sales and production planning applications at Mercedes-Benz and actively shapes the transformation towards integrated, data-driven corporate control. We work closely in cross-functional, agile product teams with business, IT and international partners. Our goal: the development of an integrated optimization model that intelligently connects sales and production planning and enables end-to-end decisions. Your role As a Business Transformation Architect (Agentic-AI & Simulation) you shape the cross-border transformation towards an AI-driven organization – both at development and application level. You define the strategic orientation for the deployment of AI in the programme, develop the necessary organizational and methodical frameworks and, together with stakeholders, ART delivery teams and external partners, manage the implementation of the strategy. Your duties AI Strategy & Transformation

Definition and development of a comprehensive AI strategy for Agentic-AI and simulation in the program context

deriving clear targets for the use of AI in development, planning and decision-making processes

Ensuring the alignment between business objectives, technology roadmaps and operational implementation

Organizational & Methodical Framework

Construction and establishment of a scalable organizational framework for the use of AI

Development of methodological guidelines (e.g. governance, operating models, best practices) for agent-based solutions

Definition of clear roles, responsibilities and decision-making processes in the AI context

Transformation Enablement & Delivery Integration

Definition of concrete transformation steps together with ART delivery teams and external partners

Supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives in operational product developments

Ensuring consistent and scalable integration of AI into existing processes and systems

Stakeholder Alignment & Change Management

Close cooperation with top management, departments, IT and external partners to ensure the safe implementation of the transformation

Moderating decision-making processes and building a common understanding of AI-driven changes

Promoting acceptance and enablement of the organization in handling AI and simulation

Governance, Scaling & Impact

Establishing governance structures for the responsible use of AI

Ensuring scalability, sustainability and measurable business impact of transformation

Monitoring and continuous development of the transformation initiatives

Ideally, you will bring: Complete studies in the field of business, computer science, engineering or comparable

Multiannual experience in transformation, strategy development or the development of data and AI-driven organisations

Strategic & Methodological Expertise Detectable experience in defining and implementing transformation strategies

Understanding organizational design, operating models and governance structures

Experience in building scalable frameworks for complex programs

Practical work records (e.g. concrete use cases or project results in the AI/simulation environment) are advantageous

AI & Technology Understanding Good understanding of modern AI technologies, especially in the context of Agentic AI, simulation and data-driven applications

Ability to translate technological concepts into feasible strategic and organizational approaches

Experience at the interface between business, IT and data/AI of advantage

Operation & Mindset Strategic thinking combined with high implementation orientation

Experience in agile transformation fields (e.g. SAFe, large programs/ART structures)

Embossed communication and moderation capabilities at all hierarchical levels

Languages German and English skills
