Design and manage the entire IT of the university in this responsible key position – strategic, organisational and operational: General responsibility for the management and further development of the IT department Development and implementation of a future-oriented IT strategy (infrastructure, applications, IT security, digitalization) Ensuring stable, secure and economical IT operation (server, network, clients, applications) Leadership, development and deployment planning of employees Planning, control and control of the IT budget and procurement of hardware and software Control of external service providers and IT projects Further development of information security, data protection and risk management Advising university management and specialist departments on IT-based processes and innovations Cooperation in high-school bodies and cooperation networks

Completed university studies in computer science, economic informatics or comparable qualifications Multiannual professional experience in IT management, ideally in university or public environment Knowledge of modern IT infrastructures (servers, virtualization, storage, networks, security) Experience in the development and implementation of IT strategies and IT projects Management competence, communication strength and pronounced service orientation Structured, analytical and independent operation Knowledge of IT security, data protection and license issues Identification with the values and objectives of an ecclesiastical university
