You support our usability engineering team along the entire development process of medical products – from the early concept phase to the validation of hardware and software. You will take over both classic UX/HF tasks and innovative activities in the field of Generative AI and Prototyping: Participation in the planning, implementation, documentation and evaluation of usability/human factors activities, including formatting and summative evaluations Support for the integration of generic AI to optimize UX/HF processes Development of prototypes, scripts or small tools (e.g. for data evaluation, simulation of user flows or automation of documentation) Optionally, you can write your master thesis as part of our development projects after you have been incorporated.

Registered:r Student:in (Master), e.g. Human Factors, Psychology, Cognition Sciences, Medical Technology, Biomedical Technology, Interaction Design, Computer Science or Similar First practical experience in programming (e.g. Python, JavaScript or comparable) and generic AI (e.g. Claude Code, Copilot, APIs) as well as interest in their application in the UX/HF context Interest in Usability, UX Research, Human Factors Engineering. First experiences with user research methods (interviews, tests, questionnaires) are a plus. Very good skills in structured documentation, careful and reliable operation. Secure handling of MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word) Good knowledge of German and English (min. B2), since documentation/team work is often bilingual.
