As an employee at one of our locations in Berlin, Cologne or Wiesbaden, you evaluate electrical drive technology and electrical equipment of rail vehicles according to international and national guidelines and standards. The focus here is on the evaluation of electrical safety, such as EMC, cyber security and this also increasingly for newer drive systems (e.g. fuel cell). In addition, you evaluate the interfaces and compatibility of the electrical equipment of rail vehicles to other vehicle systems, as well as route and operating equipment. Your assessment is based on your competence, but often involved in a project team that evaluates the entire vehicle. For your area of expertise, you will be in direct contact with the specialist experts of the customer, as well as, if necessary, in exchange with other test organisations or working groups.
