In the central IT function of Zeppelin GmbH at the Garching site in Munich, we are looking for a “Head of Division Platforms & Infrastructure (m/w/d)” at the next possible time: You want to: As “Head of Division Platforms & Infrastructure (m/w/d)” you take over the overall responsibility for the stable, secure and sustainable operation of Zeppelin’s IT infrastructure You design and control the transformation of IT landscape to modern, cloud-oriented and highly automated platforms Develop a sustainable cloud and hosting strategy focusing on scalability, resilience, automation and cost-effectiveness You are responsible for the further development of the Group-wide platform architecture – including standardization, infrastructure as code and service-oriented operating models. You run several specialised teams professionally and disciplinaryly (e.g. Core Services, Managed Client, OS/DB Operations, Platform Services, End User Services, Identity Governance, Service Provider Management) For the IT service desk and on-site support, ensure high service quality and user satisfaction A powerful network operation (LAN, WAN, VPN, WLAN) and stable platform operation ensure a secure and smooth IT service – including monitoring and incident, problem and performance management Develop Identity & Access Management, Active Directory and Modern Security and Compliance Architectures Continue A special focus is on controlling external service providers – in particular international offshore partners – to ensure efficient and high-quality performance In addition, you are responsible for budget, resources and roadmaps and drive the further development of the entire platform and infrastructure organisation via KPIs and target systems We wish: Successfully completed studies of (economic) informatics or comparable qualifications with corresponding professional experience Multiannual leadership experience in the management of IT infrastructure areas, IT teams and/or IT projects, ideally at department or department level in an international or matrix organisation Detectable experience in outsourcing and controlling external IT service providers, including cooperation with offshore partners Experience gained in the transformation of legacy systems into modern, cloud-based platforms (including migration strategies, modernisation and architectural redesign) Comprehensive experience in the operation of hybrid IT landscapes (On-Premise and Cloud) Very good knowledge of IT service management, in particular ITIL, Service Desk, Incident and Problem Management In-depth know-how in cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS), network infrastructures, identity & access management and digital workplace solutions Funded knowledge of IAM systems, in particular Active Directory, authorization concepts and security policies Very good understanding of IT security, risk and compliance requirements (e.g. ISO 27001, GDPR) Experience in cooperation with international and interdisciplinary teams and stakeholder management at C‐Level Impressed leadership, communication skills and strategic thinking Very good knowledge of English and German in word and writing You can look forward to this: Unique corporate culture: Based on the values of Ferdinand Graf von Zeppelin, we act as a foundation company on a future-oriented, social and sustainable basis.
