Shift Supervisor Thermal Sewage Sludge Incineration (m/f/d)

We are looking for you for the Civil Engineering Office/Eigenbetrieb Stadtentwasserung Stuttgart (SES) of the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. The posts must be occupied without delay. The SES operates a fluidized bed incineration at the main purification plant in Stuttgart-Mühlhausen for thermal sewage sludge utilization. The combustion works in alternating layers 365 days a year. You run a team with seven employees and are responsible for all operational matters of the legally compliant plant operation of the sewage sludge incineration plant During the late and night shift, you and your team also ensure proper operation of the biology and mechanics sectors. In order to ensure the necessary maintenance work by employees in your shift team and to control the execution Procuring the relevant equipment, such as heating oil, flocculant, sodium hydroxide solution, is also part of your tasks You support the preparations for the revision of the incineration plant

A completed training as a specialist in wastewater technology, industrial mechanic, or a comparable three-year technical training with further training as a master/in (for foreign diplomas, the presentation of recognition in Germany is required) Experience in the operation of (heating) boilers or block heating power plants knowledge of wastewater treatment and thermal processes The additional qualification as a power planter or boilerguard, as well as experience in the management of personnel and in handling procurement tools, e.g. SAP, are desirable Responsibility, organisational capacity, initiative and team and communication skills Health suitability for the activities described German knowledge with good expressability in word and writing
