Software Architect – Money Systems (m/f/d)

Our team consists of 18 colleagues at the Frankfurt and Düsseldorf locations and is responsible for IT systems around money and storage services. Our applications are still running on host-based systems – at the same time we are in the middle of an exciting technological transformation towards a modern cloud-based microservice architecture. A central issue here is the realignment of our exchange rate fixation. First foundations are laid in an interdisciplinary project team from a specialist site and development. Now we are looking for you as a software architect to accompany the transfer from the existing host world to the new Microservice landscape. In this role, you perform the following tasks: Designing architecture: You accompany projects for the new implementation and further development of our enterprise applications throughout the entire software development cycle - from the first idea to the productive operation. Translating requirements: You translate technical requirements into robust technical solutions. To do this, you describe, document and visualize processes and system logics so that You can be efficiently implemented by the developer teams. Technical responsibility: For the implementation, you take the architectural responsibility and make sure that our solutions match the company-wide architectural requirements. Review: From a technical point of view, you evaluate new requirements, together with the developers, the necessary challenges and support the team to realistically classify implementations in project and sprint plans. Share knowledge: As a contact person for all architectural questions, you advise colleagues and actively contribute your perspective to finding solutions in the team. Sustainable development of systems: Even after the introduction, you will stay close to the applications, analyse fault causes, accompany corrections and arrange for stable, high-quality and sustainable solutions together with the team.

You bring comprehensive experience in the entire software development cycle and have already worked as a software architect. You have good knowledge of most of the following technologies and methods: Java, Spring ecosystem Angular, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Filebeat Kafka / MQ Conception Interfaces (REST, SOAP, Kafka) Oracle / PostgreSQL Container and cloud technologies

You are able to understand host programs and transfer the migration requirements into a new technology stack. If you have already gained experience in the financial sector or even with securities processes, this is an advantage, but no need. Whether oral or written – you speak fluent German (C1) and bring good English skills (B2) to professionally communicate with our developers in Hungary. You analyze complex technical and technical relationships and can prepare them clearly, understandably and addressably. You take responsibility for your themes, meet informed decisions and take proactive challenges. You enjoy sharing your knowledge, sharing best practices and helping the team develop professionally and technically.
