Technical Writer (m/f/d)

Your tasks include the creation, maintenance and modification of technical documentation for KNDS products, taking into account military standards, internal specifications and international specifications. In addition, you take over the organization, coordination and project management within your technical editorial projects. In addition, research and structure technical information, plan the construction of IETD structures in the CSDB and create the required technical content. In addition, create and revise illustrations, prepare IETD data and answer their publication. You proactively agree with internal specialist areas such as development, construction and service to ensure high-quality technical documentation. As a technical editor (m/w/d) you prepare customer meetings, perform them and support the professional exchange with internal and external project participants.

You have a degree in technical communication, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable discipline; as an alternative to a technical training (e.g. master vehicle technology, motor vehicle technician or motor vehicle mechatronics technician) with corresponding additional qualification. In addition, you will bring a very good technical understanding and experience in the field of technical documentation. Knowledge of editorial systems, ASD S1000D, XML and the data structuring feature. Ideally, you have experience in creating technical documentation in the military environment; Knowledge in the motor vehicle or armor area as well as in the handling of 3D data are advantageous. Good knowledge of English in word and writing complete your profile.
