In this role, you design mechanical and opto-mechanical systems for professional image projection and make sure that performance, thermals and reliability are optimally combined in the overall system.
Your job You develop system concepts for digital projection solutions and convert them into robust, standard designs
You are responsible for the mechanical and opto-mechanical construction – from the concept phase to prototypes to series transfer
You design and optimize the thermal household of complex systems (e.g. cooling concepts, air guidance, heat management) as a central performance factor
You build prototypes with, define tests and secure your solutions by verification and validation
You create and maintain construction data (3D/2D) along current standards
You work closely with adjacent disciplines and external partners and actively contribute their expertise to the system design
Complete studies or comparable technical training in engineering (e.g. mechanical engineering, mechatronics, precision engineering or comparable)
Embossed competence in the development and construction of technical systems
Interest in the holistic understanding of complex systems, especially in the interaction of mechanics, optics and thermal
Finded experience in one of the following areas: mechanical or opto-mechanical construction and/or thermal design of systems and assemblies (a deepening in one area is sufficient – further topics can be built up in the project)
experience in handling CAD systems (e.g. Creo or comparable); further tools and systems are taught in the work environment
Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working methods as well as joy in cooperation in interdisciplinary teams
