Your role

The Shared Production Unit (Carl Zeiss Jena GmbH) is the joint production unit and part of a global group of companies from ZEISS. We produce key components for our ZEISS divisions and are therefore the proficient and the hand of the pioneer. As a data-driven quality engineer, drive our QM team forward, absorb new production requirements, structure them and transform them into efficient, data-based processes. You move safely to the interfaces of our software systems and ensure that our quality standards are not only kept, but are continuously raised to the next level through smart analyses and structured project management. You carry out analyses and create dashboards/reports for decision support (e.g. with Celonis and Power BI)

You design and implement improvements in quality management using structured project methods

You accompany QM projects from requirement to implementation and validation

You have well-founded SAP experience, ideally in the QM module, including test planning and Q notifications

You can safely model processes with BPMN and understand MES/Shopfloor processes

A completed technical university degree or a comparable qualification The ability to penetrate complex problems and new requirements quickly analytically An independent, innovative and strategic way of working – coupled with a fine sense of efficiency You bring a large portion of curiosity and readiness to learn and always work forward-looking and absolutely reliable Professional appearance, persuasiveness and enforcement strength, combined with empathy Joy to work constructively in a diverse team and to celebrate success together very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
