Your tasks: Design and optimization of induction furnaces using multiphysical electromagnetic and thermal simulations

Development and validation of coupled electromagnetic and thermodynamic models for coils and power modules in induction furnaces and block heaters

performing variant analyses, process optimizations, sensitivity tests and thermal design calculations

Conception and dimensioning of coils for induction systems and transfer of technical specifications to the design

Cooperation with research and development projects focusing on energy efficiency, sustainability and resource conservation

Your profile: Complete master's degree or doctorate in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics or a comparable discipline

Practical experience in coupled electromagnetic and thermal simulation, ideally in the environment of induction systems or power electronics systems

Knowledge of how to use Ansys Maxwell, Icepak or comparable simulation tools

Safe use of MATLAB, Simulink and methods of finite element analysis (FEM)

Good knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMV) as well as thermal behaviour and load limits of power components

Embossed Analytical Skills, Structured Operation and High Communication Competence

German language skills in C1 level and good English skills in at least B2 level
