Data Architect Variant Management / Master Data Management (w/m/d) The area is responsible for the master data processes as well as the operational processing of various cross-sectional master data. The Data Architect plays a key role in ensuring efficient data management and integrating variant management into the overarching MDM processes.

Responsibility for the implementation and optimization of variant management processes within the SAP S/4 HANA system to meet the specific requirements of the company Understanding the business relevance of existing and new data requirements in variant management and developing concepts for proper implementation in all systems Analysis and optimization of end-to-end processes in terms of product variants, including integration in adjacent systems and processes Implementation of training for users and support in the introduction of new variant management functions Close cooperation with internal stakeholders to identify requirements and develop solutions that improve the efficiency and quality of master data management Definition and implementation of measures to ensure data quality in variant management Analysis and Evaluation of New Approaches in Automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (KI) to Improve Variant Management Processes Cooperation in the development and coordination of migration and harmonisation concepts for master data objects in the area of responsibility Participation in the S/4 HANA project and take over responsibility in subprojects

Complete studies in the field of computer science, economic informatics, economic engineering or comparable qualification, with a specific focus on data management Finded knowledge in SAP S/4 HANA, in particular in variant management and product configuration Understanding the requirements for master data and their impact on business processes and digitalization Good understanding of development and manufacturing processes and their optimization with variant configurations Experience in ensuring data quality in variant management and master data management Long-term experience in project management, especially in the implementation of optimization projects Efficient communication at all hierarchical levels, in particular with regard to cooperation with stakeholders Ability and social competence for implementation or Introduction of harmonisation projects Team and compromise capability, but also enforcement ability and self-initiative Very good knowledge of German and English; French knowledge of advantage
