Head of Service Business and Tech Support (m/f/d)

Your challenges You run the global teams for service, support and technical documentation in a disciplined and professional manner and manage team capacities as well as budgets. You bear the overall responsibility for the financial success of the service business, including the achievement of revenue, cost and profitability targets. You develop, implement and improve strategies and roadmaps for service and technical documentation offerings, including their market positioning and lifecycle management. You monitor and analyze market trends and identify business opportunities in the field of life sciences and diagnostics with regard to services. You define, monitor and optimize KPIs for profitability, customer orientation, product and service availability as well as process optimization. You are responsible for creating, optimizing and maintaining technical documentation, ensuring consistency and compliance with regulatory and quality standards in close cooperation with the QMRA department. You operate strategic networking and conduct negotiations with internal and external partners, including key opinion leaders. You support sales organisations with training, marketing plans and content for lead generation and coordinate the global market launch of new service products and services. You control strategic projects to optimize business processes and represent the department in cross-functional and international projects, ensuring effective communication and cooperation in the matrix organization. You monitor and analyze market and service trends, identify new business opportunities in the life science and diagnostic environment and translate them into profitable service offers. You work effectively from the headquarters in a global matrix organization with the regions, operate strategic networking, conduct negotiations with internal and external partners and coordinate the global market launch of new service products and services.

You have a master's degree in a relevant technical or scientific field. You ideally bring additional qualifications into project management, leadership or digital transformation. You have successfully managed international, interdisciplinary teams in the fields of service, support, digital solutions or technical documentation. You have proven experience in developing and implementing strategies for service and digital products, including market positioning and life cycle management. You have practical experience in managing technical documentation as a service function for internal and external stakeholders. You optimize processes, work together across functions and implement continuous improvement initiatives. You possess comprehensive business and financial understanding, bear budgetary responsibility and control KPIs as well as profit and loss accounts (P&L). You control English fluent in word and writing; German knowledge is advantageous. You are experienced in handling modern IT systems and digital tools in service and documentation management. You bring significant analytical skills, problem-solving competence and mathematical understanding. You have a deep understanding of digital business models, service processes and standards of technical documentation. You convey complex technical facts to different target groups. You have strong leadership qualities, strong team and communication skills and the ability to motivate employees. You continuously achieve results, even under demanding conditions. You are highly customer-oriented, empathic, innovative, strategic thinking and solution-oriented. You show flexibility, resilience and willingness to continue development.
