At the strategic management center Group IT Services of Zeppelin GmbH at the location Garching near Munich, we are looking for a ''SAP Basis Administrator (m/w/d)' for the next 18 months. You want to:

In the role as ''SAP Basis Administrator (m/w/d)', you work closely with experienced colleagues as part of our SAP base team and are jointly responsible for the stable and reliable operation of our SAP system landscapes.

Together with the team, you support the entire technical software lifecycle, from installation and operation to maintenance to upgrades and make an important contribution to smooth SAP operation.

You also take care, administration and further development of the SAP system landscapes (e.g. ECC, S/4HANA) on Linux platforms.

You can also carry out installations, updates, patches, releases and upgrades as well as ensuring a stable, performant and highly available system operation.

You are also responsible for the use and maintenance of modern monitoring, monitoring and administration tools as well as the analysis and elimination of disturbances in 2nd and 3rd level support.

You will also arrange for system analysis, performance optimization and root-cause analysis and work with internal IT teams, specialist departments and external service providers.

You will advise internal contacts in technical SAP basic and operational issues and will also help implement security, backup and recovery concepts.

The creation and maintenance of technical documentation and operating manuals is also part of your task.

We wish:

Multiannual experience in SAP Basic Administration, ideally in complex system landscapes

Very good knowledge of Linux-based SAP systems

Experience with SAP operation in on-premise and cloud environments

Confidence with monitoring, analysis and management tools in the SAP environment

Structured, solution-oriented operation

Teamability and strong service and support orientation

Ideally experience in working with an offshore support partner

Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
