Manager Supply Chain Transportation (m/f/d)

Control transportation: You keep our transport processes in mind along the entire supply chain. From the suppliers to our warehouse locations and from there on to customers or branches, you make sure that goods arrive reliably, on time and cost-effectively. Take care that agreed service-level appointments are adhered to and all processes work smoothly. Developing partners: You work closely with logistics service providers and freight carriers and select the appropriate partners. In the context of international tenders, you will find solutions that combine costs, quality and sustainability effectively and improve our transports in the long term. Improve performance: You analyze key figures, track our transport performance and recognize where we can get even better. With targeted transport analyses, you opt for routes, support the further development of our logistics network and make the flow of goods – from the manufacturing countries to the consumer, transparent and comprehensible. Strengthen cooperation: You work closely with colleagues from purchasing, selling and ecommerce. Through clear coordination and open communication, you ensure that all areas work together efficiently and that our goods find their way to the customer reliably.

Your educational path: You have completed a degree in logistics, supply chain management, business management or a comparable qualification. This brings you a solid foundation for tasks in the transport and supply chain environment. Your experience: You have ideally already gained some years of experience in transport management, supply chain or operational logistics. You understand the processes along the supply chain and know how to efficiently control and develop processes. Your strengths: You think analytic and strategic, but at the same time you do tasks pragmatically and with a hands-on mentality. With your communication strength, your negotiation skills and your ability to enforce, you bring topics forward and work successfully with different partners. You will certainly communicate in German and English.
