We are looking for engineer Engpassmanagement (m/w/d) in the Brauweiler main control line at the next time. The main switching line monitors network and system security in the Amprion control zone and coordinates tasks for the German control block as well as the continental European synchronous area.
YEARS: Operational planning in the interchange service: You contribute to the safe and stable operation of the German transmission network in 3-shift operation.
Control operations planning processes (WeekAhead, DayAhead, Intraday): You evaluate the measures of the German transmission system operators calculated by means of an optimiser and, if necessary, supplement them with independently determined or derived remedial measures - with the aim of identifying and effectively correcting network bottlenecks at an early stage.
narrow-pass forecasts and network condition: you check, interpret and process the bottleneck forecasts for the Amprion control zone; analyse the underlying network state in the planning models (e.g. topology, operating medium states, feed-in/loading), plausibility of the input data and, if necessary, adjust assumptions or Model parameters.
plan, coordinate and manage actions: You coordinate bottleneck management measures with national and international partners and implement redispatch measures with power plant operators in the Amprion control zone; you continuously evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency.
Developing processes: You bring your operational know-how into internal and external working groups to continuously improve the dimensioning and processing of bottleneck management.
Introduction: For these tasks you will receive a multi-month, structured incorporation in the main switching line.
