Senior IT Security Administrator (m/f/d)

You ensure trouble-free and seamless operation of all IT security systems within the supervised organisations. You take responsibility for combating and defending cybercrime by continuously monitoring our data, malware and ransomware and recommending solutions for potential vulnerabilities. You identify, evaluate and defuse potential security threats to protect the organization from cyber attacks and data leaks. You work closely with cross-departmental teams to develop and enforce security policies as well as identify and resolve vulnerabilities. You act as the first contact person for the external Security Operations Center and coordinate cooperation in the field of IT security. You respond to safety incidents, carry out thorough investigations and implement measures to minimise further effects. You develop and optimize IT security concepts, strategies and emergency plans taking into account current threats and regulatory requirements. You are responsible for the creation and maintenance of security-relevant documentation as well as for close cooperation with other IT departments and external partners to ensure a high level of security.

You have a successfully completed master's degree in the field of computer science or comparable. You bring several years of professional experience in the field of IT security combined with experience in the Security Operations Center. You also have extensive experience with Palo Alto safety products and practical experience in the analysis and assessment of safety incidents and in the development and implementation of safety measures, in the preparation and maintenance of safety-relevant documentation and reports. You have standard industry certifications such as CISSIP, CISM, CEH or comparable qualifications. You are safe to use IT security standards and framewoks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIS2) and have knowledge in risk management as well as in the creation of emergency and recovery plans. You are convinced by your strong analytical skills and problem-solving competence, your well-founded knowledge of the principles and best practices of network and system security, your strong communication skills and the ability to understand complex technical issues. You combine the high readiness for teamwork and cooperation with an independent and structured way of working. You have very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
