Educator in the Child Protection Center (S 8b TVöD - SuE) (197/2026) (m/f/d)

The Education Department is one of the largest departments in the city administration and is looking for you to support the crisis intervention group as soon as possible. The tasks of the Education Department are divided into two areas of work: Child and youth assistance as part of the department is primarily responsible for all tasks under the Social Code VIII (SGB VIII) as a public institution for the youth assistance of the City of Halle (Saale). Children and youth should grow up healthy and protected. If necessary, parents and families are advised and supported in the education, care and education of their children. Preventive, voluntary, family-assisted offers and concrete help help help improve the living situation of families and make children and young people strong. In the second extensive field of work, the department provides services in the field of public school administration. The school administration implements the external school affairs and fulfills the duties of the school supporter of the city of Halle (Saale) for the currently 64 municipal schools in the urban area.

Your duties

• They take over the emotional, material and pedagogical care as well as care of children taken in custody and carry out all related tasks in active interlayer work
• They design the handling of parents or other reference persons when they visit their children in the crisis intervention group
• They work in internal case consultations
• You document in the case files and create observation and development reports
• They conduct the resumption of children into the children's protection centre and the associated crisis talk outside the service of social workers (m/w/d)
• You are taking over business activities (e.g. cleaning of rooms and laundry and preparation of meals) outside the service period of the domestic operators (m/w/d)
• They shall perform the activities referred to in the context of interlayer work (three layers by service plan) as well as in a non-accessible environment (e.g. stair climbing, safe lifting and carrying of infants and infants and objects weighing approximately 10 kilograms)

Our requirements

Required:

• a completed training as a state-recognized educator or state-recognized nurse (m/w/d)

• Legal knowledge in SGB VIII (especially in § 42 SGB VIII)
• Experience in dealing with conflict situations

In the event of an adjustment, proof must be made:

• a certificate according to § 43 Infection Protection Act (Health certificate)
• an extended management certificate for submission to an authority pursuant to § 30a BZRG (without prejudice)
• a certificate according to § 20 para. 8 to 11 Infection Protection Act (e.g. vaccination against measles)

• one according to § 14 para. 1 TzBfG temporary employment for the period of absence of the person in fulltime with 39 hours per week in the S 8b TVöD - Social and Educational Service (from 3.578.87 € to 5.190.90 € brutto). In the event of the organisational conditions being presented, an extension or permanent transfer of tasks is intentionally pursued
