In our diverse children's, youth and family homes in Berlin Wedding/Spandau/Treptow-Köpenick you will find a wide range of offers under one roof: clearing and crisis intervention, a toddler group, a mother-father-child institution, and housing for young people.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for you as: Senior Consultant (m/w/d)

You shape the recording processes of children and young people individually, sensitively and in close coordination with the children's emergency services or youth offices. With pedagogical expertise, patience and heart, you are looking for a reliable care, support and promotion of children and young people in everyday life. Together with youth offices and families, you develop sustainable perspectives in the clearing process for the further path of life of young people. Parental and family work is not an addition to you, but a central part of your daily work – partnership, applied and binding. You work closely with youth offices, premiers and other specialist departments and actively represent your technical perspective in help conferences. You document the entire aid process carefully and legally compliant – including all reports required for cooperation with authorities.

You have a completed training as an educator:in or have completed an educational degree – e.g. in social education, social work or education. A systemic basic attitude, as well as experience in stationary child and youth assistance, or a comparable working field. For you, an esteeming, prejudice-free cooperation in the team is the basis of professional action – and you live this claim in everyday life. With empathy, commitment and a good portion of humor, you shape your everyday work – supported by confidence and a healthy lightness. You are ready to work in shiftwork – even on weekends and holidays (in our community only in exceptional cases).

A versatile working environment with several stationary housing forms under one roof awaits you, which allows quick and uncomplicated support – even in acute crisis situations. Regular team meetings, case meetings, supervisions and trainings ensure the quality of your work and provide you with valuable impulses for personal development. You will receive an unlimited employment contract in full or part-time. 30 days per year and two extra days on 24.12 and 31.12., if you have no service – otherwise you will receive corresponding compensation days. A remuneration based on the TV-L S forms the basis of your salary. In addition, you benefit from a home and shift allowance of 140 euros per month and a crisis allowance of 200€ per month (only in the crisis group). A tax-free allowance of 50 Euros per month – either as a grant to the VBB company ticket, as a Pluxe Benefits Card or for corporate fitness (Wellpass). Regular team events, a Christmas party and sporting corporate events such as the B2Run strengthen the team spirit. Our occupational health management offers you preventive examinations, prevention courses and even access to the innovative skin screening app “Dermanostic”. You have kids?
