You carry out exposure investigations in cases of suspicion of occupational diseases and draw up corresponding reports on the basis of workplace examinations and file searches. You support the prevention centre in cooperation with the BK team and the area of rehabilitation. You represent the technical specialist in questions on the causes of occupational diseases. You are responsible for a reduced field of supervision of the specialist competence printing and paper processing in the field of external services. You analyse occupational hazard factors (e.g. dangerous substances, physical effects, psychological and social factors). You analyse the interaction of technology, organization and human behavior for the holistic design of safe working systems. You shall advise or arrange measures to be taken by the entrepreneur or the insured person with regard to the health and safety regulations and the elimination of special accident and health hazards. You carry out accident investigations.

A completed academic degree programme (Dipl.-Ing. (Univ./TH/TU), M.Eng. or M.Sc.) of the Department of Chemistry, Process Engineering or a comparable degree programme. A completed training to the supervisor is advantageous. If not available, we will be happy to support you with a two-year training with Cologne office. Very good knowledge of German in word and writing (at least level C2 of the common European reference framework for languages) and good knowledge of English in word and writing. Willingness to keep training at the BG ETEM educational sites. readiness to provide services and to frequent, e.g. several-day service trips throughout the federal territory. Class B licence. During the preparation service (training to the supervisor), the grouping is carried out in the remuneration group 13 BG-AT. After the successful completion of the training, the training and the targeted qualification are followed for the additional task of the occupational disease determination. With the transfer of these tasks, a grouping is provided in the pay group 14 BG-AT. In compliance with the requirements of the runway law and taking into account the job plan, there is also the prospect of taking over into an official's relationship up to the grade A 14 BBesG.
