As an integral part of the regional cultural landscape, we combine cultural diversity with social commitment and create spaces for encounter, participation and exchange. The cultural area is a central and economic pillar of our association. In addition to artistic quality, a reliable organization, economic sustainability and a clear team management are crucial. For the management of this area, we are looking for a responsible and strong personality as a cultural manager (m/w/d).

Your role in us You are responsible for the content, organisational and economic management of the cultural sector. You develop programs, implement events and ensure stable processes in the team and in operation. In particular, we expect a high degree of self-responsibility, reliability and structured work. Your duties Conception, planning and implementation of a diverse cultural programme Artist acquisition, contract negotiations and booking Development of new event formats and target group strategies Ensuring continuous programming Examination of contractual bases as well as handling GEMA and artist social tax General responsibility for planning and implementing events Technical and organisational management of the team Budget responsibility and economic governance Analysis of key figures for the further development of the area Further development of the cultural sector taking into account demography and target groups Cooperation with internal and external partners

This will bring you Completed s studies in the field of cultural management, event management, business management (with focus on culture/event) or comparable or a relevant vocational training with multiannual professional experience in the event or cultural sector Multiannual experience in the planning and implementation of events and in dealing with budgets Understanding economic relations in cultural operations and experience in contract law Ability to combine cultural quality, organisational processes and economic requirements Structured, reliable and self-sponsored working methods as well as strong organisational ability Ensuring reliable, documented and comprehensible work and planning processes Responsibility for the economic viability of the cultural sector including planning and management of own resources management Enforcement, clear communication and safe occurrence Experience in managing projects or teams Ready for regular evening, weekend and holiday work safe handling of MS Office and digital tools
