About us In our internal workshop in Marienborn, you work in a closely interlocked team of machining mechanics in Tagschicht. The team is professionally strong, open in exchange and shaped by short decision-making. The focus is on device construction, production aids and the production of complex machine and metal components. Your duties Programming, setting up and operating modern CNC milling machines Manufacturing of devices, manufacturing aids and machine parts Programming via CAM systems (e.g. Solid CAM) including simulations directly in the CAD system Installation, measurement and testing of the manufactured components Close cooperation with construction and production Active cooperation in joint solutions, analysis of problems and implementation of sustainable improvements Coordination with internal interfaces and intensive professional exchange (stakeholder communication) Your profile Complete vocational training as a machining mechanic, industrial mechanic or comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in automated turning and milling Experience in the programming and optimization of CNC milling machines, ideally via CAM systems such as Solid CAM Understanding CAD-based programming simulations Technical expertise and very good understanding of technical drawings and documents Ideally about five years of professional experience in a comparable position Joy of team-oriented work, technical coordination and solution-oriented communication Your Benefit As open as SCHOTT is for your further development, our offer of additional benefits is as extensive.
