Ensuring financial governance within the Group's finance community and across all finance IT systems based on regulatory and group requirements Tracking and ensuring the timely closure of internal and external audit findings Monitoring existing financial processes and guidelines, including the implementation, documentation and formal approval of defined controls Providing technical support to companies in the application of identical processes and guidelines Further development and maintenance of the process framework for monthly closings and technical compensation Planning and execution of onsite and offsite reviews of data quality and governance Active process optimization through documentation of workflows and the use of digitization and automation solutions Close cooperation with central group functions in London

Degree in accounting, finance, or comparable professional qualification At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting or reporting, preferably in the insurance sector Very good understanding of financial closing processes and internal governance structures Experience with several European local accounting standards and IFRS consolidation is an advantage Independent, careful working style and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines Excellent English skills and fluent German are a must Strong understanding of processes and interest in standardization, digitization, and continuous improvement
