These are your tasks

• Conception and implementation planning for the further development of the memorium in terms of content and organization as a time-historical and international and human rights-related museum and as the establishment of historical-political education
• Head of the institution as a subunit of the Department of Remembrance and Time History at the Department of the City of Nuremberg
• Ensuring the quality of the permanent presentations by evaluating the scientific, museum and educational developments in the subject area of the house
• Ensure all measures necessary for the ongoing museum operation, in particular, leadership of employees, acquisition of third-party funders and cooperation partners, cooperation with the judiciary and the International Academy of Nuremberg Processes
• Representation of the memorium: the establishment and maintenance of national and international networks and contacts to institutions connected with themes of the memorium, and the care of national and international guests of honour of the city of Nuremberg

This is your profile For activity you need

one of the following qualifications as

• Master, Magister, Diploma (Univ.) in a relevant scientific university study, for example, in the field of historical humanities (primarily time history (20th century) or/and Political history or History of National Socialism) or the Department of Political Science

In addition, you have

• High management skills, leadership and cooperative leadership
• Negotiating knowledge of foreign languages in word and writing, in particular the English language, are indispensable, further foreign language knowledge is desirable
• High communicative and intercultural competence and team skills
• Pleasure of organisational work in the municipal context
• Creativity and Seriosity in Attacking and Treating NS-related topics of the past and present
