The City of Freiburg seeks you for the Office for Social Affairs as Head (a) Housing area The Housing and Housing Department is responsible for applications for housing allowances as well as the annex services Education and participation and social ticket, applications for residence permits and admission to the urban housing seeker file. There are two areas of expertise in the department, the management of the area of property for the processing of applications for housing and annex services.

As a leader of currently 23 employees (a), you are the first respondent to demand and promote potential. You control the work organization in the subject areas of housing, social ticket as well as education and participation in the teams assigned to you. Continuous development and optimization of the business processes, including new technological developments, is part of your task. They evaluate monthly case numbers that serve as the basis for controlling. In case of absences, you represent the department management.

They have one of the following qualifications: career skills for the high level of non-technical administration the employee examination II or the degree as an administrative specialist (a) and in the best case comparable professional experience to the senior service; or a degree, preferably social, administrative or legal science.

Multiannual professional experiences in senior activity and ideally in the social administration are of advantage. Knowledge of administrative and procedural law and an affinity for new technological developments round off your profile.

An indefinite body full-time with payment by grade A 12 LBesO or Paying group 11 TVöD – depending on the existence of personal conditions.
