In cooperation with our stakeholders, we secure the Amazon supply chain throughout and promote security in business decision-making. Our operating network, known for its speed, accuracy and exceptional service, delivers millions of packages and smiles to Amazon customers every day. To ensure the safety of our operating network and to ensure operational continuity, we are looking for proactive and solution-oriented professionals who want to join our team as Loss Prevention Manager:in. In this key role, you deliver security as a service for our operating locations along the entire supply chain to protect our employees and prevent losses.

This position is preferably to be occupied at our location in Horn-Bad Meinberg.

We do this by preventing security and loss-related risks and vulnerabilities as early as possible, engaging in emerging incidents to minimize negative effects, as well as thoroughly investigating safety-relevant incidents to identify and eliminate the causes of the ground and thus prevent recurrence.

Support the resilience of our business by contributing to emergency and crisis planning for locations in your area of responsibility Contribute to identification of vulnerabilities (e.g. loss, employee experience, process improvement) and define appropriate remedy measures while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards act as contact persons and coordinate risk management measures with local management and external parties (e.g. law enforcement authorities and industry associations) in all security matters Make sure that the locations assigned to you comply with Amazon's global security standards Own projects related to security and damage prevention at local, regional and national level A day in the life As Security & Loss Prevention Manager:in you will be part of a team of security and loss prevention experts that offer business customers as a service in several business areas in a specific geographical area. They regularly conduct physical security audits and identify policy violations, safety-relevant incidents and loss events.

During your investigation, you collect information by monitoring systems and tools, analyzing data reports and conducting surveys. Your findings help to identify vulnerabilities in our processes and drive you to remedial measures. They play a key role in maintaining the physical integrity of our sites by checking and monitoring the functionality of our systems and maintaining their functionality together with experts and external suppliers.

In addition, identify and take initiatives to improve our physical security infrastructure and contribute directly to the budget planning of our external suppliers. They interact daily with our external security service providers to ensure the provision of high-quality security services and a smooth customer experience.

Finally, you conduct training and awareness-raising programmes to prevent damage to other teams at all levels of management, and run the implementation of our safety and damage prevention plan.

Basic qualifications A degree or equivalent degree Relevant security or risk-related experience (e.g. security services, physical security, damage prevention, risk management, inventory management, investigations, supply chain, auditing, compliance or the like) Insufficient experience in dealing with the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment Advanced knowledge in German in word and writing Knowledge of the upper middle class in English in word and writing driving licence Preferred qualifications No preferred qualifications are required for an application at Amazon.
