Senior Payroll Specialist (m/f/d)

As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you support the team in the timely payroll accounting and introduce suggestions to optimize processes and systems to increase the efficiency of payroll accounting. Individual support and advice of all staff groups in all accounting topics Support for complex questions on wage tax, social security and labour law issues Maintenance and management of personnel master files in SAP Global View as well as the creation of corresponding documents (certification) Self-fulfilment and control of monthly payrolls Communication with pension and health insurance companies, insurance companies, authorities and internal interfaces on accounting-relevant topics System updates in SAP Global View and other system interfaces that affect payroll accounting Creation and analysis of ad hoc and standard evaluations and performance of data validations; Participation in audits and support in monthly and annual work Cooperation in process and system optimization in the area of payroll accounting and in cooperation with other HR areas on payroll related topics

completed commercial vocational training, studies in human resources management or economics with a focus on human resources management; Alternatively, an additional qualification (e.g. as a wage and salary accountant or tax specialist) At least 4 years of professional experience in pay billing (full or preparatory wage accounting) Safe handling of tax and social security rights, in particular in connection with notifications and communication with authorities and social security institutions Forcefully necessary knowledge in the pay accounting software SAP HCM Payroll; further knowledge of Workday HCM and MS Office (especially Excel) are advantageous High level of analytical skills and outcome-oriented working methods as well as a structured, independent, careful and service-oriented approach Good communication skills in German ( oral and written) and English
