Production Quality Technician (m/f/d)

As Production Quality Technician (m/f/d), you are part of our Quality Assurance team and are responsible for the operational quality directly in our production. You are present directly on the shopfloor, analyzes quality deviations, develop suitable tests and fault images, and help our production staff implement quality requirements safely. Together with production, engineering and quality, you develop technical solutions, improve testing and production processes and ensure that knowledge from quality deviations flows back into our production in a sustainable manner. You work closely with our Quality Control Technicians who are responsible for our incoming and outgoing inspections. Together, you will ensure a consistent quality process from stock receipt to production to the finished product.

What is your Day to Day Mission: You are the direct quality contact person on the shop floor and supports our production staff in quality and technical issues.

You analyze quality deviations and develop fault images, error catalogs and visual quality standards for our production.

You train and qualify production staff for quality requirements, fault pictures, testing methods and new quality processes.

Together with production and engineering, you develop suitable in-process tests, fault tests and quality gates and integrate them into the production process.

You support causes analysis, correct errors and develop technical solutions and prevention measures together with the relevant teams.

You opt for existing production and testing processes with the aim of recognizing errors earlier, avoiding repetition errors and increasing process stability.

You transfer insights from quality deviations into test instructions, error catalogs, trainings and quality standards and anchor them sustainably in production.

You work closely with our Quality Control Technicians and ensure the continuous flow of information between Incoming Inspection, Production Quality and Outgoing Inspection.

What you bring to the team:

You have completed technical training, for example in mechatronics, electronics, aircraft mechanics, industrial mechanics, model construction or a comparable technical field.

You bring professional experience in production, quality assurance, testing, assembly or a comparable technical production environment.

You have a strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical and electronic systems and assemblies and are delighted to have technical errors on the ground.

You can safely read and apply technical drawings, schematics, specifications and work and test instructions.

You are familiar with common measuring, testing and diagnostic devices and can use them specifically for testing and error analysis.

Problem-solving methods such as 8D, 5-Why and Ishikawa are not foreign words for you and you are going on structured in case of error analyses.

You understand production processes and have a good sense of where faults arise and how You can be avoided sustainably by suitable testing or process improvements.

You can communicate technical and qualitative relationships in a comprehensible way and enjoy teaching colleagues and sharing your knowledge.

You work independently and solution-oriented, you are happy to be directly on the product and connect a hand-on mentality with a high quality awareness.

With your open, communication-strong and competent appearance, you can easily be perceived as a quality contact person and technical Sparring partner.

Ideally, you bring a high affinity for UAVs as well as aerospace.

Communication in German and English is of course for you.
