Training as a train traffic controller and further qualification as a technician in railway operations 2026 (m/f/d)

As of 01.08.2026, we are looking for you for the 2-year training as:to trainer:in the train control (w/m/d) for DB InfraGO AG at the Leipzig site. The vocational school is located in Edisonstraße in Schkeuditz (near Leipzig). After your training, a 6-month practical application at DB InfraGO AG at our headquarters follows the central railway station in Leipzig. You will then complete a 2-year further qualification as:to the transport technician:in railway operations. During this qualification, the theoretical phases change at the technical school in Gotha and specialist practice in Leipzig. In the training, you are in one of the numerous control centers of the railway (called “Stellwerk”) and learn the following activities: you are testing and controlling the train with technical support, e.g. in the form of screens or display boards, so that the trains take the right path. You decide when to stop, drive or overtake the trains. You serve and control switches and light signals and thus influence the train traffic. In addition, you’re in contact with the engine drivers:in order to inform them about changes. Your goal is to ensure safe and smooth train traffic. This is what you expect in your training:
