We are looking for a full-time (39.83 hours/week = 100 %) at the next possible time Senior Consultant (m/w/d) The department works closely with the Rectorate as part of the Department of Higher Education and Strategy. It is integrated into the current development tasks of the University as part of overarching projects and takes responsibility at the interface to faculties, institutions and bodies. The team coordinates and accompanies the work of the central university bodies and supports faculties and institutions in development and structuring projects, in particular in the development of perspective and target agreements

You are the first contact person*in questions on ensuring good scientific practice and develop information and prevention offers for the members of the RUB. You support the RUB's ombuds body in the implementation of ombuds procedures, measures to prevent and advise the relevant decision-making bodies on matters of good scientific practice. You support the investigative commission in the formal investigation of scientific misconduct. You ensure a timely reception and completion of ombuds and investigation procedures. You document the decisions of Ombudstelle and the Investigation Commission and support the communication of decisions. You are responsible for adapting the procedures to new legal developments.

You have the second legal state exams (full jury), a doctorate is desirable. You have professional experience in science management, ideally accompanied by bodies and persons in management functions and advice on questions of good scientific practice. You convince by a sovereign appearance and a clear, convincing communication with internal and external audiences and in different specialist cultures. You have the ability to work independently and independently as well as service-oriented and design the case processing professionally reliable, discrete, predictive, efficient and collegial. Excellent knowledge of German and good English are just as natural for you as the safe handling of common office software and digital tools (e.g. collaboration software).
