Senior Network & Security Solutions Architect – Fortinet Expert (m/f/d)

Integrated design and implementation of modern network security architectures Consulting and design of network security solutions Analysis of existing (SD-WAN) network infrastructures, identification of security requirements and risks as well as development of customized security concepts for IT and network systems in close cooperation with the operating units and the customer. Identification of new technologies and trends (e.g. SASE, Zero Trust, AI-driven Security & Observability)

Planning, implementation and operation of security solutions Implementation, configuration and integration of network security solutions such as firewalls, SD-WANs and intrusion detection/prevention systems as well as support in safe operation. Documentation, training and further development of security strategies Creation of security documentation and presentations, training and support of customers as well as operational units for network security and best practices as well as active cooperation in the continuous development of security strategies (including vulnerabilities and patch management) and solutions.

Manufacturer communication & technology partnerships Direct technical exchange with leading manufacturers and technology partners Assessment of new features, roadmaps and integration options Participation in beta programs, tech previews and strategic workshop Global infrastructure strategy Design and development of global shared infrastructures Standardization, automation and scaling of network and security architectures Performance, availability and safety optimization in hybrid environments PreSales & Technical Customer Communication Support for sales in complex customer requirements Creation of technical concepts, demos and proof-of-concepts Presentation of new products and solutions on customer events and trade fairs

Complete studies in the field of computer science, network technology or comparable qualifications Multiannual experience in the development or architecture of network and security solutions Deep understanding of current technologies (e.g. SD-WAN, cloud networking, firewalls, SSE) Experience in handling Fortinet, Cisco and Meraki skills would be a plus point Know-how in the fields of network automation (e.g. netbox, Ansible, Terraform) and monitoring Communication strength, presentation skills and a sense of customer needs German and English in Word and Writing
