Your tasks:

• Component responsibility for plastic and die casting parts in the development of eBike drive units
• Particular emphasis is on robustness, durability, NVH and industrialization
• Supporting components from the A-Muster to series release
• Tolerance calculation, component design, drawing derivation, documentation and clarification with suppliers
• assignment of validation patterns and tests, interpretation of test results and derivation of improvement measures
• Review of dates, quality, and cost targets
• Working in a cross-functional project team

Your profile:

• Complete university studies (Master/Diplom/Promotion) in the field of mechanical engineering, automotive engineering with a focus on product development, engineering or comparable
• Very good knowledge of the CAD tool ProE/Creo and MS Office
• Found experience in the development of plugs, plastic components and die casting components, as well as associated manufacturing technologies such as punching, drawing, bending, plastic injection molding, die casting and screws
• Experience in supplier management
• readiness to travel on occasional business trips approx. 1-2 times per year
• Good knowledge of English and German in word and writing
