You actively shape the expansion of the rail infrastructure in the Würzburg / Fürth area and take responsibility for measures to increase capacity in freight transport, in particular for infrastructure measures to enable 740 metre long freight trains as part of the North Bavaria rail expansion. In the project you are working on key measures to further develop the railway infrastructure in North Bavaria. The aim is to increase the efficiency of the network by expanding railway systems, adapting railway stations and infrastructural extensions and to create the conditions for longer freight trains. The responsible project management assists you in the planning and implementation of infrastructure measures in the context of the rail expansion of North Bavaria over several phases of performance In the context of the 740-metre-long freight trains programme, you are working on infrastructure measures in the vicinity of railways, railway stations and overhaul trains. In close coordination with internal departments as well as external planning offices, you coordinate sub-measures of infrastructure planning and construction preparation Controlling external planning and construction services takes into account costs, dates and quality requirements Coordination with authorities, municipalities and other project participants is structured and supports the project management during approval processes Project progress, risks as well as dates and cost developments, you prepare and report to the project management You actively support the development of project processes and the implementation of infrastructure measures in the complex environment of railway construction

Your profile:

You have successfully completed your studies in engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable technical field First knowledge or experience in the project work you could ideally already gather Technical and economic questions you analyze structured and develop sustainable solutions for infrastructure projects The willingness to design, willingness to use and an independent and responsible way of working characterize you A strong communication capability as well as a safe handling of project partners:inside and stakeholders, your appearance in the project environment Coordination with internal departments, planning offices and authorities
