My client is an established, privately run hotel in the Halle/Leipzig area with a diverse range of accommodation, gastronomy, conferences and events.

The house has a professional sales structure, different operational business areas and an established organization. In the course of further professionalization of the commercial management, a new position is created, which works directly with the management. No classic hotel director and no pure accountant are expressly requested. Rather, the focus is on a personality who understands commercial figures, recognizes relationships and derives concrete impulses for the ongoing hotel business.

The position offers the opportunity to actively shape a newly created area of responsibility and to develop perspectively into a further leadership function.

You play a central role in the business management of the hotel business and support the management to identify economic developments at an early stage and to derive appropriate measures.

Monitoring and analysis of revenue, expenditure and cost developments Creation and further development of business evaluations and key figures Control and plausibility check of cash registers, transactions, purchases and customs Evaluation of room utilization, event bookings and sales development Linking utilisation, sales development and personnel deployment Support for the needs-oriented personnel planning and, if necessary, for the creation of service plans

You have a strong commercial understanding and are interested not only in figures, but above all in the economic context behind them.

Completed commercial studies, completed vocational training or comparable qualifications Good knowledge of accounting and preparatory accounting Embossed understanding of costs, revenues and operational processes Communication strength and the ability to understand commercial matters Entrepreneurial thinking and joy in advancing themes independently
