In our department we shape the future of autonomous driving. Our focus is on developing state-of-the-art ADAS components – from sensor technology to intelligent cleaning systems. Our team is responsible for cleaning, holding, heating and pre-conditioning of the sensors to ensure their reliable function in all weather conditions. This enables a highly available and comfortable level 3 ride experience. Our project team consists of 9 dedicated team members. We cover all relevant development roles and work closely with the areas of software, system architecture and design. In a hybrid, agile setup – with test stands at another location – we rely on open communication, team spirit and flexibility. Together we develop solutions that enable our customers to transfer the driving task to the vehicle more and more frequently – for maximum comfort and safety. As part of our team, you support the development of innovative solutions to ensure the availability of sensors for autonomous driving and play a central role in developing innovative test strategies for sensor-free maintenance systems. Your tasks include: Support in the integration and testing of our systems at test benches and in the vehicle Development, automation and protection of test and measurement concepts for cleaning, holding, heating and pre-conditioning of ADAS sensors Conducting and evaluating tests on SiL / HiL test benches to validate our solutions Support in setting up a backend data analysis Active participation of agile development processes in a hybrid working environment

The work student activity can start from March 2026.

Course with technical background, e.g. in engineering, software development or a comparable course

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Secure handling of MS-Office, Confluence, Jira

Knowledge in at least one programming language (such as Python or Java)

Previous knowledge of CANape / CANoe and vehicle diagnosis/crosslinking helpful but not required for all topics, as well as the willingness to learn new tools

Teamability, communication strength and flexibility in a hybrid working environment

High commitment, independent working and strong analytical and strategic thinking

driving licence class B
