You work in an interdisciplinar team on the adaptation and conversion of the operational software of highly complex missile systems. The design of new algorithms or methods, in particular with regard to image identification and image processing, is also part of your range of tasks, such as the maintenance of entire systems and individual components, based on numerical simulations and analytical considerations. In addition, the real-time behavior of the systems will be investigated by incorporating the operational target hardware. The presentation of results on national and international audiences completes your many activities.

The best advance for this position is a completed study in the above-mentioned areas, preferably with promo­tion or recognition as a scientific assistant (m/w/d). Ideally, you have already been able to gain insight into image processing and real-time systems. You are responsible for complex technological systems and can also convince us with their excellent analytical ability. In addition, you have good IT skills and deeper knowledge in a programming language (C++ / Python). Flowing German and very good English skills in word and writing complete your profile.
