Number: MER0003VFM Who we are: As part of the research and development department of a globally leading automotive company, we are at the heart of product development and shape the future of mobility. Our team is responsible for the central portfolio of all systems and functions of our vehicle series. This portfolio is the indispensable basis for all subsequent processes – from planning to testing and testing to customer release of our vehicles. We work closely with RD departments to ensure that our vehicles always comply with the latest technology and inspire our customers. Your tasks – Here you will find yourself: As an intern*in, you can help us significantly increase transparency and efficiency in our system and function management. You will gain deep insights into the complex processes of automotive development and actively contribute to the success of our projects. Support Change Management You help in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of our regular change circle appointments Here, changes to the system and function portfolio are discussed and decided with system managers and representatives of the follow-up processes. Their tasks include the content preparation of the tops, the creation of the Agenden, the documentation of decisions and measures, as well as communication with the parties

Transparency through new Kanban You fundamentally shape the processes for the follow-up activities You determine the processes for changes and model them in a Kanban tool The aim is to make the implementation status of each change transparent for all relevant areas (e.g. system developers, central area, AMG, VAN, G-Class, Planning)

You implement the processes in the tool and run the tool Process optimization You identify potentials to improve our processes and support the implementation of new approaches to optimize cooperation and information flow What we offer you: Get comprehensive insights into project management and the central development processes of a premium car manufacturer The system and functional portfolio provides insight into the technical capabilities of our future vehicles

The activity can begin from February 2026 and is limited to 6 months.

You are an immatricated student (m/w/d) of economics, engineering, computer science or a comparable degree course, ideally focusing on project management, process management or vehicle engineering You have a high affinity for complex technical relationships in the automotive sector and are excited about product development Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing are of course for you First experiences with Kanban and project management tools are beneficial A structured, independent and proactive way of working out You are powerful, team-ready and enjoy working on new topics Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate with a specification of the semester, if necessary.
