Technical Specialist / Laboratory Manager Bioelectronics

Construction of a new bioelectronic laboratory: laboratory infrastructure, measuring stations, working areas and technical requirements procurement, installation, commissioning and documentation of laboratory and trade fair equipment; Supplier communication, offers, orders, maintenance and service contracts Construction and maintenance of electronic measuring stations for bioelectronic components, sensors, electrodes, OECTs, hydrogel systems, electrochemical interfaces and electrophysiological applications Support for electrical and electrochemical measurements, data acquisition, stimulation and noise signal recording Integration of soft, flexible or organic bioelectronic components with electronics, circuit boards, cables, measuring chambers, microfluidics, sample holders and contacting solutions Construction, adaptation, maintenance and troubleshooting of measurement structures, cables, adapters, mounts, simple circuits, shields and test stands Support of doctoral students, postdocs, students and guests in technical problems and in optimising experimental processes Maintenance, calibration, inventory management and ensuring a clean, safe and well organized laboratory participation in chemical, biochemical, biological and electrical safety; SOPs, device instructions, security documentation, checklists and training Technical contact for internal services, workshops, IT, building management, security, purchasing, finance, suppliers and service companies

Completed university studies, preferably electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, medical technology, physical technology, automation technology or related; alternatively state-tested technicians (m/w/d) with relevant professional experience Very good technical understanding in electronics, measuring technology, sensor technology, device integration or laboratory instrumentation Experience in the construction, operation and troubleshooting of technical measuring systems Knowledge of electronic measuring instruments, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, source meters, potentiostats, impedance analyzers, function generators or DAQ systems Practical experience with cabling, contacting, soldering, simple circuits, mechanical mounts, sample chambers or prototypes Basic understanding of chemical, biochemical or biological laboratory work and willingness to learn new methods and safety requirements Advantage: PCB design, CAD, 3D printing, microcontroller, Python / LabVIEW / MATLAB; Experience in bioelectronics, electrochemistry, electrophysiology, microfluidics or flexible electronics You should have: Independent, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation High sense of responsibility for laboratory safety, order, reliability and technical quality Joy of practical support for researchers and common problem solving Very good communication skills in an international and interdisciplinary team English knowledge of Word and Scripture is required; readiness to actively apply and develop existing English skills is welcomed Ready to learn new experimental methods
